Students take a full day tour of cultural enrichment in the city’s Historic District with visits to the Franklin Museum, the Liberty Bell, Constitution Hall and the Historical African American Museum. Call ACT-SO for more information.

"The NYC ACT-SO Evening of Theatre"

Want to add something delicious and spicy to your life? Well, you're in luck!
Here is your invitation to THE NYC ACT-SO EVENING OF THEATRE 2012, serving up seven evenings of delicious theatre gumbo. Flavoring up the pot with some August Wilson, Lorraine Hansberry, Samm-Art Williams, Fannie Lou Hamer, Neil Simon, Ossie Davis and the intellectual stimulation of Malcolm X, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and Dr. Adam Clayton Powell.
The NYC ACT-SO “Evening of Theatre” was created by Willie Ann Gissendanner, Producer/Director, to provide a real theatre production experience as well as academic and cultural enrichment for the ACT-SO scholars.
This delicious theatre gumbo is being served for seven performances only:

Celebrating the 34th Anniversary of the NAACP ACT-SO “Olympics of the Mind”
26 NYC ACT-SO Gold Medalist with more than 1,200 other Gold Medalist from across the United States will compete for more than $100,000 in cash along with other prizes including fully loaded Laptop computers. And an all expense paid trip to Houston.
